ALICIA KASAI, CMT, Cht,  graduated from the National Holistic Institute in 2009, with 720 hours of training in various modalities of massage therapy (Deep Tissue, Thai, Myofascial Release, Swedish, Sports, Reflexology, Prenatal, Hot Stones massage, etc.) as well as health education. Soon out of school, she worked with both a chiropractor & acupuncturist and began her journey as a therapist. Her love of the basic concepts of yoga (such as the power of breathing, body awareness, clearing the mind & focusing one’s energy within the body), & her intrigue with discovering new ways to listen to & read the body through her hands, has lead her to refine her talents as a therapist. She developed a unique style of addressing chronic body issues (such as pain, stiffness, stress & emotional holding patterns within the body) while allowing her clients to open up & achieve true relaxation through deep effective body work, patience, energy, trust, & intuition.

Alicia studied the ancient healing techniques of Cupping and Gua Sha which she loves to blend into any massage session for greater healing, detoxification, circulation, relaxation & toning of the muscles.

2019 Alicia became a certified hypnotherapist and performed hypnobirthing in hospitals during active labor. She also teaches yoga nidra which is a guided meditation for deep relaxation and helps with insomnia.

2023 Alicia received her CPR and First Aid training to ensure every client is in safe hands.

2023 Alicia received her training as a Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapist BCST

2023 Certified as a Qigong instructor

Also, If I feel you need serious medical support I have a list of medical providers I recommend. None of these modalities replace medical evaluation. They are used if everything is cleared by your doctor.

Massage therapy is great for a short term solution likes sports soreness or just being too busy to take care of yourself. But, massage therapy is only a bandaid and should not be use as a solution to physical issues.

“It is truly a great feeling when someone walks in the door grumpy, in pain & skeptical, & leaves hugging me & expressing gratitude for a unique experience, relaxation & relief from chronic pain. It’s like they are a different person when they leave my treatment room. I love a challenge. I love making a positive change in someone's well being. It’s like I can feel their energy beaming with goodness. It makes my whole day & that’s when I know I just love what I do.”
